I really had a great experience at the shop in Oakland. I really felt like the team went above and beyond the Call of Duty to get the right parts for my car and get the job done right.
Had a transmission that was delaying shifting and then shifting with a big clunk. People told me that it was probably coming apart and it could cost me up to $3000. Took it to these great people and they fixed it by reprograming the controls and checking everything out. Cost a little over $300. Very happy. Good people.
The place is a bit rough around the edges, but the crew does great work, they take customer schedules seriously, and from my transmission replacements – I think they offer really fair prices. good stuff
The owner looked at my car, diagnosed it and gave me great advice. A new Transmission for my car would be $5,800 coming with perrenial engine problems like the ones I already have. He advised me on a better model that made sense and has helped me. I have seen very few honest people who would decline $6000 and give technical advice for free, to a stranger🤓. This breed is rare in my generation. Thank you sir!
